She made it known to the house that many universities are commending the School Products (the girl) The principal also made it known to the house that she cannot vouch for the day students on WAEC result because they rely on getting “expo” on the net instead of studying. For this, a therapist has been paid to come and talk to the girls in September. She advised parents to install “parent control” on the gadgets they provide for their children. She explained that discipline is becoming a very big challenge which the school faces especially in these areas; gossiping, telling lies, spreading false information, bringing phones or tablets to school, and lack of taking responsibilities over personal belongings. She also spoke on the challenges of running both boarding and day school system , pointing out that, the day students are used by both parents and boarders to sneak in all sort of things into the school. The school will be working with Zenith Bank to get a multi-purpose I.D cards for the girls. So many suggestions were made concerning the phones which the girls bring to school: Professor Abudullahi Abdulhadi suggested that the school provides a scanner for the security persons at the gate and if any phone is found, it should be sold. Mr Ajakaiye Jacob commended the school for taking the issue of phones so serious, he suggested that phones be disposed and suspension applied to avoid tarnishing the image of the school. Professor Hadiza agreed that the matter is a very serious one as she suggested that parents should be counseling their girls, phones be destroyed and offenders suspended. Hajiya (Dr) Ralia M. Abdullahi suggested that a committee should be set up to look into the case of phones. She also said that the issue of malpractice is also very serious so, drastic actions should be taken. A parent asked if the parents of phone offenders were invited to the school and the Principal replied in affirmation.
